Oldham County Public Library Reopens to In-person Service June 29th

All locations of the OCPL will reopen to in-person service on Monday, June 29th with limited hours and capacity. Hours will be Monday- Thursday 1-7pm, Friday 10am-5pm, and Saturday 10am-2pm. The first hour of each day (1-2pm) is reserved for immunocompromised patrons. In accordance with other county buildings and the Governor’s executive orders, everyone who enters the building is required to wear a mask (per CDC guidelines, children under 2 should not wear masks). If you do not have a mask, one will be provided. Capacity at each location will be monitored, which means visitors may be asked to wait before entering and will be asked to limit their time inside. Patrons are welcome to call ahead to check current capacity before arriving.

Curbside and Drive Thru Service

You can place holds on items in the OCPL catalog for pick up via drive-thru at the Main Library in LaGrange, or via curbside delivery at the South Oldham Library in Crestwood and the Mahan Library in Goshen. Drive-thru and curbside hours are 1-7pm Monday-Thursday, 10am-5pm Fridays, and 10am-2pm Saturdays.

  • Please make sure to follow signs for instructions at your designated pick up location
  • The way we handle holds has been changed to offer better protection for both staff and patrons! Please note that this may cause a delay in times between when you place a hold and when you receive notification that items are available for pick up. Thank you for your patience while we strive to serve you!
  • We are not accepting donations at this time.
  • If you have questions, feel free to email us at ask@oldhampl.org or send us a private message on social media, @oldhamlibrary.
